Anti-Social Behaviour high profile eviction in Woodchurch

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) is something we take very seriously here at Magenta Living. We’re proud of the work that we do through our partnerships with the Police, local authorities and agencies, this work allows us to keep delivering on our Vision of vibrant… homes, lives and neighbourhoods.

We recently completed an eviction on Ferny Brow Road on the Woodchurch estate. The family who have been evicted had caused a wide variety of issues for the community over the last few years ranging from graffitiing, causing damage to property, showing abusive behaviour, drugs, and other criminal offences.

We completed this eviction as a member of the family were convicted of a very serious offence of welding a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place. As a result of this we pursued possession under the mandatory Ground 7a of the housing act and a possession order was then granted by Birkenhead County Court, allowing for the eviction to take place.

Clare Moore, Head of Neighbourhood Management said, “We hope this will serve as reassurance to members of the community who have been affected or fear of being affected by similar behaviour, and as a reminder to all customers that should they or anybody living with or visiting anyone convicted of a knife offence, then they too could face similar action.”
