Magenta Living’s Christmas Fundraising

Magenta Living is extremely proud to have donated over four crates, packed with essential food and toiletries to Wirral Foodbank. In addition, they have raised a fantastic £475.50 for Mission Christmas Cash for Kids along with a selection of toys and gifts donated by Magenta Living colleagues.

Both charities support some of the most vulnerable people in the local community, and due to the Cost-of-Living crisis, this support has never been needed so much. Throughout December, Magenta Living’s colleagues have generously donated items for Wirral Foodbank and fundraised for Mission Christmas Cash for Kids.

By hosting a Christmas Jumper Day bake sale on Thursday 8th December, colleagues raised a fantastic £183 which was further topped up and matched by Magenta Living, totalling an amazing £400.

Property Care, Magenta Living’s in-house repairs and maintenance service raised a further £75.50 at their Christmas event, with Planning Supervisor, Craig Offen, proudly donating his newly won bike to Cash for Kids. The bike was kindly donated to the Property Care Christmas raffle, by our partners Travis Perkins.

Rachel Bennett, Housing Services Director at Magenta Living said ‘We are extremely proud to be supporting Mission Christmas Cash for Kids and Wirral Foodbank again this year. The work carried out by both charities makes a huge difference to people’s lives, ensuring that local children don’t wake up on Christmas morning without a present to open and that local people don’t go without essential food and wellbeing items.

It’s been great to get involved and work with colleagues from across the organisation to support these fantastic charities again. Each year our colleagues go above and beyond to support these charities, and this year their generosity was no different.’

Holly Stevens, Cash for Kids Charity fundraiser said ‘I would like to thank you so much for all your support. We still have over 13,000 applications to pack for local children and young people before Christmas, and the donations from Magenta Living are going to make a huge difference to our campaign.

The unbelievable amount of money you’ve raised will help us massively, as this year we’ve had little donations for 9-12 year old boys and girls. Using the money you’ve donated, we are going to purchase gifts for this age group, to make sure local 9-12 year olds have something to open on Christmas morning. Thank you again!’
