Safeguarding Adults Week 2022
This week we’re supporting Safeguarding Adults Week 2022, as we look to raise awareness of this important issue with both our customers and colleagues.
Safeguarding is the act of protecting a child or adult’s right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect.
Magenta Living is committed to the principles of safeguarding and have a clear policy in place to comply with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements. We are here to support customers and help them access the services they might need.
We have a robust internal policy called ‘See it Report it’ and a 24/7, Tenancy Concern Hotline for our colleagues to report any concerns they might have about any of our customers.
A concern is, something’s that’s not right, a gut feeling or something we have seen or heard that just doesn’t sit right. Whilst the full picture isn’t always available to us, if there is a concern that a customer is at risk, it’s important that the concern is shared with us so the appropriate steps can be taken, and support can be put into place.
