Spring Clean at Bidston Rise

On a lovely spring day, neighbours from in and around the Bidston Rise Estate pulled together to clean-up the streets.

Donning high-vis jackets and litter picks, people of all ages mucked in to tidy up tired areas around the Community House in Clover Drive.

Mohammed and Rachel from Connect Us, a community initiative run by the charity Involve NorthWest (previously known as Tranmere Alliance) came along to meet tenants and show their support.

Also Karen and Debbie who work for Tesco as Community Champions for the Bidston Rise area where on hand to provide healthy goodies – fruit and veg snacks to keep everyone going.

Lisa from Wirral Council and her colleague from Kingdom Environmental Enforcement Services joined in aswell, by supporting tenants to create a cleaner, safer environment to live in.

Andy, Keith, and Chris from Trolleywise popped along to check the estate for abandoned trolleys and managed to recover a total of 21 which where all returned to the nearby Tesco’s.
