Don't Suffer in Silence

During major events like the Euros, there is often a spike in domestic abuse cases across England. In the previous tournaments, research showed a 38% rise when England lost and a 26% rise when they won. In 2020, there was a 5% rise in referrals to the National Centre for Domestic Abuse.

If you or someone you know is being hurt physically, emotionally, sexually, psychologically, or financially, don’t suffer in silence. Everyone has the right to feel safe and secure in their home, and we understand that domestic abuse ruins lives. We take any allegations very seriously.

There is always support available. There are many local organisations across Wirral offering support for domestic abuse victims in your community...
