Symptom-free testing will begin in Wirral on Monday 7 December (today) to help stop the spread of Covid-19 this winter.

Testing will be available at four testing centres across the Borough and will enable thousands of residents without symptoms to get tested so that we can support them to isolate before they develop symptoms and reduce the spread of the virus.

Our compassionate colleagues have dug deep and collectively raised £640 for Radio City 96.7's & Cash For Kids Mission Christmas 2020. 

The collection was championed by Assistant Director of The Magenta Way, Fiona Astor, who recognised that although we play our part as an organisation, many of our colleagues wanted to contribute in their own way.

Maureen, Environmental Services Manager and Greg, Contracts Manager, have been very busy recently working with Wirral Council Parks and Gardens as well as the Deputy Leader of Wirral Council, Cllr Anita Leech. 9,000 bulbs were planted across the grassed verges of Orchard Road and Ivy Lane neighbourhoods in Moreton.

Following government announcement on Friday 18th September that there would be local restrictions introduced in areas of the North West, including Wirral, in response to the rising numbers of COVID-19 infections in the region...

Liberty will deliver gas servicing, maintenance and installation services to over 13,000 homes owned by Wirral based housing association, Magenta Living.  The contract for gas service and repair is worth £1.6 million per annum over the next five years, with the opportunity of installation works in addition, taking the contract to a maximum value of £3 million per annum.  Magenta Living have worked with Liberty for over 13 years delivering smaller contracts, but this contract award will see Liberty expand its services with Magenta Living to deliver vital safety services to all of Magenta Living’s tenants.
