Tenant evicted due to catalogue of incidents

Magenta Living recently evicted a tenant from Ward Grove, Rock Ferry due to subjecting her neighbours to a catalogue of incidents over a prolonged period of time. These included, harassing people for money, loud drunken parties, alleged drug use and drug dealing, theft, begging and shouting and screaming in the street. Incidents would happen at any time during the day or night.

Despite the best attempts of Magenta Living to address this behaviour these proved unsuccessful, therefore an application to court was made. The tenant failed to attend the court hearing and an immediate possession order was made.

Richard O’Neill, Tenancy Enforcement Team Leader, said “This tenant was given various opportunities to address her behaviour, and that of her visitors.  She failed to do this and continued to have no consideration for her neighbours and showed little remorse for doing so.  I am happy that we were able to take this robust action and bring relief to the large number of residents this tenant’s behaviour impacted upon.”
