Yours Views Matter - Consultation on the Consumer Standards for social housing tenants
Housing Associations like Magenta Living are regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing.
The Regulator of Social Housing is seeking views on their revised regulatory consumer standards. Registered providers such as Magenta Living, must meet the standards so tenants live in safe, quality homes, have choice and protection and can hold landlords to account. The consultation closes at 6pm on Tuesday 17 October 2023.
The four standards include:
Standard 1: Good and safe homes
Standard 2: Good relationships with tenants
Standard 3: Safe and well-kept neighbourhoods
Standard 4: Renting homes to tenants

Ways you can feedback
You can view the ‘Standards for social housing tenants’ document here. This is an easy read booklet and clearly tells you about the new standards. Read the booklet and answer the questions after each of the idea sections.
You can also complete an online questionnaire with your feedback. The link to access the questionnaire is here: Consumer Standards Online (snapsurveys.com)
Once you have completed the booklet with your feedback, please send it back direct to the Regulator of Social Housing by Tuesday 17 October 2023 in the following ways:

- We will have printed copies of the Consumer Standards feedback booklet in our main office (Partnership Building, Hamilton Street, Birkenhead) for you to collect and complete.
- Contact us on our 24/7 freephone number 0800 100 9596 and we will send you a printed copy to your home address.
- We will return your booklet including your feedback direct to the Regulator of Social Housing for you. Just drop your completed booklet into our Customer Hub and we will arrange for it to be sent on your behalf.
